Even instant photographs (like Polaroid's) can be used for scrapbooking (sort of, I'll get into that in a bit). This is a very elegant touch on gift scrapbooks or invitations.

Tearing creates an artistic look to backgrounds, borders, and embellishments. Sequins come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors and are available at any local craft store.

This will adhere the fabric to the freezer paper. Most regular glues do not work on metal.

Simply wrap a ready-made button with the paper. In one word or one short phrase, tell the reader the theme and purpose.

Then, using an eyedropper, apply the glitter. Textured paper can also be used as a backgrounds or border to give your page an interesting fresh look.

That will help guide the tear, but there will be that occasional area where the tear departs from the crease. However, crystal lacquer looks especially nice on more formal gift scrapbooks.

Another consideration when using fabrics is if the color will bleed off onto your page and other things touching it. Excess powder or glitter can be brushed away.
